Illustration Friday - Flawed
This is my submission for this weeks topic of "flawed". The more I kept looking at this picture, the more I think that it's just not quite right. I think that it needs more flowers or maybe a background. Maybe I'll add to it another time.

This is really well done - it has lovely colors and you can sense the softness of the flower petals so don't give up on it! I think maybe what is bothering you about this beautiful piece is that the iris flower is so far down in the plant - the placement of the flower puts it right in the center of your composition which may be what's making you feel it is a "flawed" piece. If you move the flower up, I suspect you'll be much happier with it. Hope this helps!
